Markus Rupprecht will start this concert series on July 7th at 5pm
Markus Rupprecht was Born in 1981, Markus teaches the organ at Hochschule für katholische Kirchenmusik und Musikpädagogik (College of Catholic Church Music and Musical Education) in Regensburg, Germany.
So far his concert tours have not only taken him to many European countries such as Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria but additionally to Mexico, Cuba and Russia.
His experience also includes working with professional choirs and ensembles. Markus has a fine sense for the expressiveness of every single tone and his brilliant keyboard technique allows him to make the organ sound both powerful and sensitive.
Markus Rupprecht is co-author of Jon Laukvik’s third part of Orgelschule zur historischen Aufführungspraxis (English title: Historical Performance Practice in Organ Playing).
Markus Rupprecht completed his studies in church music, organ and harpsichord at the music college of Regensburg, and also has degrees from Piteå, Sweden and Vienna where he studied with Michael Radulescu, Hans-Ola Ericsson and Stefan Baier.
