A new restaurant in Akureyri's new Culture and Conference Center, Hof.  The restaurant takes it name from the year Akureyri was awarded town status and the danish influence on the town's shopping and business in the past.

Amts -Kaffi Imlur, is located in the Amtsbokasafn, the Akureyri town library, Brekkugotu 17. Hours of operation are from 10:00 to 17:30 Mondays through Fridays. During the winter season it is also open on Saturdays from 11:00 to 15:30.

The Bautinn Restaurant is situated right in the heart of Akureyri on the corner of Hafnarstræti and Kaupvangsstræti. The building itself is one of the oldest and most beautiful in Akureyri.

The restaurant Brekka is open daily from 15.th of May till 15.th of September.  At other times open upon agreement - but notice that advance booking is needed during off-season.

Flugkaffi is a cafe and a restaurant at the Akureyri airport.

Goya Tapas bar is named  after the Spanish painter Francisco Goya, for the simple reason that the Restaurant is located in ?Listagilinu? in the heart oftown of Akureyri and the focus on the Spanish Tapas livestyle  mixed with the best that the Eyjafjordur area has to offer from  food and culture.

The aim of the Greifinn Restaurant has been, from the start, to provide a varied menu where everyone can find a meal to his or her liking and to follow the American idea that service should be both fast and good.

The restaurant at the Icelandair Hotel in Akureyri is known for good local cuisine with southern european flavours. From 1.oktober - 1.march it is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 18 -21. Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11-14. Groups can of course book on other days.

A new sticks and sushi restaurant in the center of town, by the town square. The restaurant seats 40 and reservations are only needed for groups.  It is also possible to order "take-away" for both individuals and larger groups.

La Vita é Bella is an Italian restaurant in the centre of town where emphasis is placed on fresh raw materials.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor at the old Linda Chocolate Factory. It seats about 75 persons. On the second floor are two separate halls seating 40 and 120 persons.

Rub23 is first and mostly a seafood restaurant with a broad selection of dishes as well as sushi and some meat dishes.

Strikið Restaurant is located on the 5th floor in the centre of town, offering a splendid view over the fjord and the new Cultural and Conference house Hof. During summer meal can be enjoyed on the sheltered terrace adjacent to the restaurant.

The restaurant Örkin hans Nóa specializes in fresh seafood.  The house is on the spot where  the main harbour was located around 1900 and where the hart of trade and services took place.
