A restaurant in Akureyri's new Culture and Conference Centre, Hof. The restaurant takes it name from the year Akureyri was awarded town status and
from the Danish influence on the town's shopping and business in the past.
1862 Nordic Bistro is at the same time coffee house, restaurant offering high quality "smörrebröd", as well as food service for events, large and small. We focus on exceptional Danish smörrebröd, good cakes and interesting dishes of Nordic origin where local food is in leading role.
