GalleriBOX is run by The Visual Artists Society (Myndlistarfélagið) in Akureyri. The Gallery is the residence of the Society but also serves the purpose as a showroom where the policy is to exhibit the latest trend in the field of visual arts as well as to focus on young, undiscovered artists and their works.
