The inhabitants of Grímsey, Iceland’s northernmost inhabited island and the only part of the country that lies above the Arctic Circle, celebrates the summer solstice the days surrounding 22nd of June with a family festival, offering visitors a chance to participate in the celebrations.

In 2023 the Solstice Festival in Grímsey will be held 23rd to 25th of June
