Do you know the chemicals in the environment and what effect they can have on children's health?
In the presentation, Kristín Helga reviews the main harmful substances in children's environment, where they can be hidden and gives good advice to reduce chemical exposure to children. Emphasis is placed on simple and empowering ways to deal with the chemical soup around us.
The talk is based on material that was developed in collaboration with SSNE and the Loftum educational project for local authorities. Kristín Helga is a trained international researcher from the University of Aarhus, with a focus on the interaction of human rights and environmental issues, mother of two boys and has worked in mediation and project management of environmental issues for years.
