Elves in Icelandic folklore are special in many ways and the word is used for a special category of hidden people. Icelandic elves usually live in rocks or stones, but prefer to be left alone. In Icelandic folklore, there are many descriptions of interactions between elves and humans.
But what is the attitude of children towards elves and hidden people in 2024, how do they see these hidden beings?
