Then you walk north along the peaks; Hverfanda 1320 m, Thríklakkam 1360 m, Bónda 1350 m, Litla Krumma, Stóra Krumma, Syðri-Súlu 1213 m, Ytri-Súlu 1143 m and down to Glerárdal where the participants' cars are waiting. This is a challenging hike as it is marked as a four-shoe hike. Participants must be in good walking shape. The walk can take 12 hours. but it all depends on the group, movement and weather. Participants need to dress according to the weather and bring a good and energy-rich lunch for the day and plenty of water, as water may not be available on the way. Good to have spikes with you.
