It's never too late to try something new.
This is a two-hour skateboard meeting/session where beginners and more advanced can attend and have fun in a group of good people. Instructors will be on site to help and give good advice. Ideal for those who want to try something new or learn more.
The instructor is Eiki Helgason, a skateboarder who is well known to the people of Akureyri, and has a long career in board sports. He will be joined by skateboarding geniuses Haraldur Logi Jónsson and Bjössi Jóhannsson.
It is recommended that participants bring their own skateboards, but it is possible to borrow a skateboard. Please note that a limited number of loaner boards are available.
*It is important to arrive in good sneakers.
An evening session with mentors will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
