The art group Gellur sem mála í bílskúr will open an exhibition at the University of Akureyri Library on Thursday 7 March, 16-18. All are welcome and light refreshments will be available.

The exhibition will be open from 7 March until spring. You can view it at the University Library opening hours 8-16 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-18.

The group consists of eight artists who meet regularly and paint together in a garage. The group met at the Art Education Centre in Akureyri and founded the club Gellur sem mála í bílskúr in January 2016. The goal of the group is to meet and support each other in the art creation and have fun. The group has held numerous exhibitions, participated in collective exhibitions and also some have had private exhibitions.
