Donat Prekorogja exhibits in Deiglan Akureyri.

In his own word:

My name is Donat Prekorogja and I was born in Switzerland in 1999. I completed my bachelor’s studies in Visual Arts at HEAD Genève, where I developed a practice in installation and sculpture. My eyes have always been drawn to things in motion, in search of those moments when time is suspended around a rhythm. It’s in the poetry that flows from these frozen moments that I’ve discovered a desire to provoke my own timeouts, in which dynamism, vibration and variation capture our gaze and give life to the inanimate.

I slide all along the frozen pavement, I try to catch myself somewhere but it’s no use, I just slide and slide and the houses move forward and forward, they all look the same, all clean, all simple, almost fake, I could see them standing on models, but the more I slide the more I see the houses move, the windows whirl, the fences swirl, the doors turn around, nothing is the same anymore; It’s the whole city that’s deformed to the rhythm of a never-ending slide.
