Drive to Siglufjörður. Set off from there, cycle into Skarðsdal and up the old road up to Siglufjarðarskarð. From there, in good weather, you can see all the way west to Strandir. Then you cycle down to Fljótin and along the main road through Strákagöng and to Siglufjörður. Those who have a transport bracket for bikes use it, others can have the bikes transported on a bike trailer.
