Summer solstice

Summer solstice was celebrated in Grímsey island as usual this year. The festival was smaller than usually and took mostly part outdoors so that each and everyone could choose their own space. 

The program consisted of several events such as concerts, food-bufé and the raising of the peace pillar.

If you consider to join next years event then make sure to book accommodation in advance. The next years event takes place around 19th to 21st June.
