Days are already loooong on Grímsey island by the Arctic Circle, about 15 hours and 39 minutes. Sunrise this morning was at 05.30 and Sunset is around 21.00 (9PM). The island is about 40 km north of the coast and thus the northernmost point of Iceland. At summer solstice, 20th June, the island will be embraced with 24 hrs daylight.
