Ísgerðin is located in Kaupangur. Here you can enjoy all kinds of delicious milkshakes, bragðarefur (Icelandic mix-in ice cream treats), scoop ice cream, and ice cream in a cone. There is also a self-service ice cream station, where guests can fill a box with their choice of ice cream, add their own toppings, and pay by weight. Six different ice cream flavors are available in the self-service section.
All ice cream is made on site — both the soft serve in the machines and the scoop ice cream — and it is truly one of a kind in Iceland. The ice cream contains no artificial additives, preservatives, or added colorings, making it especially fresh. It is both gluten-free and egg-free. A wide selection of dairy-free/vegan scoop ice cream is available, as well as sugar-free options.
