Axel's first EP ´Forest Fires´ was released in Iceland in 2015, where the music was composed under the influence of everything from Bon Iver to Bombay Bucykle Club. The short album received a lot of attention from the rest of the world and the title track, Forest fires, has been streamed on Spotify over 75 million times.

Axel has opened for many bands over the years including The Paper Kites, Radical Face, Mumford & Sons, Junius Meyvant and Ásgeir Trausta.

On February 8, Axel is going to play his first concert at the Green Hat together with a band, and hopefully it will be a good mix of sweet tunes and good vibes.
