Drive to Eyjafjörður on the east side of the fjord to Öngulsstaðir. From there, drive along a dirt road to the parking lot at the summer cottage Sel. You follow a marked path to the cairn at Haus, which is the first stage when walking to Staðarbyggðarfjall. There is a great view from there and fun to enjoy with children on a beautiful summer evening.
