Arriving Hof in Svarfaðardal where the walk goes to the mountain north of river Hofsá, upp the side of the mountain and then turned north above the  Hofsskál. Further north and up to Mt Efrafjall. Arriving on top of the mountain south of Dagmálanibba and walked north on the mountain.
