Concert Eyþór Ingi and Babies group
Concert on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the release of the album "Gæti eins verið"
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the release of the album "Gæti eins verið", the group Eyþór Ingi & Babies are going to hold a concert on Saturday, February 4th at the Green Hat, where the album will be played in its entirety, and who knows, some other songs will be played along.
The Icelandic Þursaflokkur met for the first time in February 1978 and worked continuously until 1982. In those years they released 3 LPs, Hinn íslenzki Þursaflokkur (1978), Þursabit (1979), Gæti eins verið (1982) and one concert album, Á chordleikum (1980 ). In 2008, they released an album with songs not heard before, Ókomin forneskja, as well as a concert album, Í höllinn á þorra. The group Þursaflokkurinn was Ásgeir Óskarsson, Egill Ólafsson, Karl Sighvatsson, Tómas Magnús Tómasson, Rúnar Vilbergsson and Þórður Árnason.
