From the office FFA, Strandgata 23 in Akureyri we drive in private cars to the starting point of the tour.
The walk begins from Syðri-Reistará and continues towards the sea. Then north to Hjalteyri too see where the hot water in Akureyri comes from. Then north  towards Arnarnesnafir and back to Reistará via Bjarnarhól.

Total distance 12-13 km. Little elevation gain.

Price: 2,000/3,500. Included: Tour guide.
