Gásir by Eyjafjörður was a trading post in the Middle Ages and protected archaeological remains can be seen there. Walk around the area, take a look at the history and see the traces of an ancient settlement. Then we will walk to Skipalón, a place mentioned in Jón Sveinsson's books, Nonni og Manni. A comfortable walk, but through green land, the beach, fields and peat. Good to wear good shoes and have walking sticks.

Distance 7-8 km. Walking distance insignificant. Cars need to be transported between places, but it is very short.

Price: 2,000/3,500. Included: Tour guide.
