Hafrafell and Þverárhyrna in Öxarfirði

Drive to the town of Hafrafellstunga in Öxarfjörður and walk up to Hafrafell (535 m). There is a huge and beautiful view from the mountain. Then you walk back, drive from Hafrafellstunga to Sandfellshaga and on the way up to Öxarfjarðarheiði, we take a walk up to Þverárhyrna (540 m). The last climb up to the summit is a bit steep, but from there there is a magnificent view in all directions. Walk the same way back and drive back to Akureyri.
