Drive to Ólafsfjörður and up to Lágheiði. The mountain rises from Lágheiði in a western direction.
Its two columns touch the sky as seen from Ólafsfjörður. The path is well-grown and accessible. When you get to the top, you will have a view of the eastern mountains and Reykjaheiði, Klaufabrekkudalir and the entire Ólafsfjörður. You can also see the towns in Fljót and Stífluvatn and Haganesvík.
