What do the ladies in Akureyri do in summertime when they are not hiking, collecting herbs or making jam? They play their instrument with a deep passion! We invite you to a musical harvesting in a family home in Naustahverfi. People can come and sit down, enjoy live music and a cup of tea. This will be a party!

Ásdís Arnardóttir cellist, Dagbjört Ingólfsdóttir bassoonist and Steinunn Hailer Halldórsdóttir pianist will perform classical music at 1 pm and 3 pm in Klettatún 13. Each event is about 30 minutes long. The pieces that will be performed are Sonata by Sammartini in three movements (cello and bassoon), Allegro apassionato by Saint-Saëns, Elegie by Fauré (cello and piano) and Celloconcerto in C-major by Haydn, first movement (cello and bassoon).

All the pieces are pleasant to listen to and are suitable for all ages. Welcome.
