The local Traditional Rhyme Singing Society Gefjun hosts an event at Akureyri Municipal Library.
You can listen to traditional rhymes, vikivaki, and a few members will wear the Icelandic national costume.
The poems sung and chanted are in Icelandic, but everyone is welcome to enjoy the sounds and music of our past.
