We gather at Ráðhústorg, joining hands in the fight to make the government fulfill the demands of the Women’s Year.
Music, speeches, and the power of women — nothing compares to feeling the solidarity and strength of women and nonbinary people united.

The labor unions, along with numerous women’s and LGBTQ+ advocacy groups, are organizing the event as in previous years. This year marks 50 years since women first went on strike to demand equality. Women and queer people who can are encouraged to take part in the day’s program and to minimize the work and responsibilities that come with the second and third shifts.

The outdoor rally runs from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM, and joy will lead the way!
