Drive to Hraun in Öxnadal, where the walk begins. We will hike to Halllok in Öxnadal (998 m) from where there is a magnificent view south to Hraundranga. On the way back, the route goes through Einbúaskál and Draugadal to Hraunsvatn and continues back down to the town of Hraun. The crossing will be slow and the focus will be on enjoying and exploring the nature of this magnificent area. On the way we look around for flowers and talk about the nature of the area, as well as Jónas Hallgrímsson's spirit will float over the lakes.
