Nineteen Thousand Hours

Fanný María Brynjarsdóttir graduated from Akureyri School of Visual Arts in 2020 and has since then developed her style and done whatever the mind calls for. This exhibition contains a selection of her creative works from the last 19,000 hours.

Fanný María Brynjarsdóttir was born in Akureyri in 1967. She lived in Hrísey for the first few years, but when she was 9 years old, she moved to Akureyri and has lived there ever since. She has an art studio in the town center and mostly works with oil and acryllc paint, but also monoprints and watercolours. She enjoys creating whatever comes to her mind.
