“Musical colours”
Art work by children and children's choir come together at an opening in Hof-Cultural House in Akureyri, opening on Thursday 20th of April 2023 at 14:00, First Day of summer.
The projesct is a collaboration between groups of children from 4th-7th grade, creating art work and children singing in a choir. Theme of the music is the onset of spring and summer. Project leaders are Elsa María Guðmundsdóttir visual arts teacher at Glerárskóla in Akureyri and Sigrún Magna Þórsteinsdóttir choir conductor and organ player.  At the opening of the exhibition the choir will sing songs that have inspired the art works of the children. The exhibition will run until 26th of April at Hof-Cultural House in Akureyri.
