Embroidery course in flower embroidery

Embroidery course in flower embroidery

Embroidery course in flower embroidery for beginners and advanced.

Kristín Vala Breiðfjörður, chairman of the Home Industry Association, leads a course in Sigurhæði's dining room in floral embroidery.

Flower embroidery is an embroidery method, used to decorate skirts, aprons and continuous hem dresses, but also on loose pockets and even bags or other things. Flower stitch is sewn according to various patterns that are drawn or printed on the fabric. A flower stitch is worked in the same way as a warp stitch, except that the band from each stitch is split by the next needle stitch. In appearance, the trace resembles a casting loop.
For beginners and advanced embroiderers.
A comforting and refreshing quality time after work in the early winter twilight in the unique surroundings of Sigurhæði.
