Driftwood on display

Driftwood is often found along the coast of Iceland, it mainly comes from the North coast of Siberia. Usually they drift for about 4-5 years before they reach Iceland.
This large trunk washed ashore in Grímsey island, Iceland northernmost part, and was carved out by an artist with motives related to the island .
