Join us as we celebrate Fishermen’s Day (Sjómannadagur), a cherished Icelandic tradition honoring the men and women whose lives and livelihoods are connected to the sea.
Throughout the weekend, communities around Eyjafjörður will come together to celebrate Iceland’s rich maritime heritage with family-friendly events, harbour activities, boat trips, seafood tastings, music, exhibitions, and ceremonies of remembrance.
