Summer Solstice is today 21st of June. This is the peak of Iceland's midnight sun. In Grímsey island at Iceland's Northernmost point (by the Arctic Circle) the sun does not set at all and in Akureyri sunset is at 01.00 am and sunrise at 01.30 am.
