Sæfari has resumed sailings between Dalvík and Grímsey after being in dry dock throughout October for maintenance. The first scheduled trip is today, with a sailing to Hrísey, and tomorrow marks the first trip to Grímsey.
This maintenance period that has now been completed is the first of two, with a shorter work period planned around the turn of January/February. During that time, Sæfari will not be dry-docked; maintenance work will be carried out while the ferry is at the pier.
Until the end of the year, the ferry will operate three times a week to Grímsey, increasing to four weekly trips after the New Year.
Information about the ferry and its schedule can be found on Grímsey’s website.
