The tournament has four age groups for both men and women: 13 years old and younger, 15 and younger, 25 and older and an Open group. Each team plays at least three games. Everyone can participate. One substitute is allowed (i.e., maximum 4 players per team). Experienced referees call the games. The tournement is sponsored by the town of Akureyri. 

The first games start at 12:00 noon. The game schedule will be posted the day before the tournament. 

In addition to prizes for winning in each age group, various awards will be handed out. Grilled hamburgers and a DJ will be on the spot.

Teams must register before 12:oo Thursday August 24. The registration fee is 9000 ISK and must be paid on the spot.
