This year, the Akureyri School of Music celebrates its 80th anniversary, and on that occasion, there will be a lot
going on at the school this year. To kick off the anniversary year, we are planning to host a party on Saturday,
February 7th. In Hof at 11:00 – 15:00 The program will be as follows 11:00 - 12:00 Open workshops 11:00 Room 357 and recording studio 3rd floor – Electro workshop – 1 hour. 11:00 Black box/ground floor – Drum circle with Rodrigo Lopes - 1 hour 11:00 Library 3rd floor – Color & listen – 1 hour 11:00 Dynheimar 2nd floor – little children's dance – 30 min
11:30 Lundur 2nd floor – Violin presentation – 30 min 11:30 Hamrar – Singing hall with singing teachers – 30 min

You can allso walk around the school and look around, staff are always around who are very willing to answer questions
