Hulda Ólafsdóttir invites you to explore her new acrylic paintings at Deiglunni in Akureyri during the weekend of July 17-19. Having begun her painting journey earlier this year, she proudly presents the fruits of her labor. The subject matter is diverse—ranging from angels to abstract forms, flowers, landscapes, and faces, inspired by her creative impulses of the moment.

Hulda has a rich artistic background, having studied at the Art School in Akureyri while also pursuing fashion design in Italy and later graphic design in Akureyri, her hometown. In recent years, she has embraced change, exploring new avenues in creativity and spirituality. She has trained in coaching, healing, Reiki, and hypnosis, and runs her own business, Hjartalag. Additionally, she writes poetry and lyrics, integrating them into her design work. Most recently, she has ventured into theater by participating in a workshop with BÍL.

This exhibition marks her first sales event showcasing acrylic works.
