The WINDOW in Hafnarstræti 88 will be in love mode on Akureyrarvaka.

Passers-by have the opportunity to look through the window and experience a bit of a love adventure where romance and flirting reign supreme.
The installation is called "Love in Red Light" and tells the story of a couple who go on a picnic to lift themselves up. The color red is distinctive and refers to passionate emotions and love itself. The love and charity that we are so blessed to be reminded of every time we stop at a red light in the city of Akureyri. The exhibition is the brainchild of the sisters Brynja Harðardóttir Tveiten, an artist, and Áslaugar Harðardóttir Tveiten, who runs the decorative shop Ms. Blómfríður. The exhibition is for all age groups and is accessible 24/7 as it is enjoyed from the outside.
