Ásgeir Örn Jónsson from Akureyri Hospital (SAk) and Inga Lára Símonardóttir from the North Iceland Health Care Institution (HSN) will explain how different parts of our healthcare system communicate and work together, and provide an overview of the services available.

Open House sessions are always held on Mondays at 2:00 PM in room N102, Sólborg, Norðurslóð 2.

Open House is a collaborative initiative of the Friends of the University of Akureyri, the North Iceland Health Care Institution (East Division), Akureyri Hospital, the Akureyri Senior Citizens’ Association, and Active Later Years – Akureyri Municipality. The project aims to improve access to educational opportunities and to welcome people into a university that belongs to us all.

Everyone is welcome, subject to available seating. Admission is free.
