Open Art Workshop at the Akureyri Art Museum

To celebrate Sjómannadagurinn, an open art workshop will be held at the Akureyri Art Museum on Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 to 15:00.

The workshop is organized in connection with an installation by Swiss artist Zimoun, who creates site-specific sound installations and sculptures, primarily using recycled materials from everyday life and industry. The exhibition is part of the Reykjavík Arts Festival.

This is a great opportunity for the whole family to explore Zimoun’s installation and create their own artwork inspired by the exhibition.
