Akureyri Motor events will be held in Akureyri, from August 13th - 16th 2020.

Bíladagar is one of the largest motor sports events held in Iceland and is an annual celebration of all cars, motorbikes and general motor sport vehicles from around Iceland. Races, drag racing, displays and much more fills the timetable. The Akureyri Car Club runs a camping facility for those guests/enthusiasts who'd like to stay close to the action for the whole of the event. This area also offers open training tracks and Go-kart rental for all guests.

The Akureyri Car Club is one of Iceland's oldest auto clubs, formed in 1974.  The club has hosted variety of events throughout the years with ever growing annual calendar and very active volunteering membership.  It is five minutes drive from downtown, about 10 minute walk from nearest bus station, located above Akureyri in the Glerardalur valley.  The valley hosts also Akureyri Motorcross arena, Akureyri skiing resort, shooting area and fantastic hiking opportunities.
