International Mother Tongue Day is celebrated on February 21st every year. We celebrate the day throughout the month of February.

 

On Saturday, February 7th between 1pm and 3pm, we will come together and paint jars and cups. The idea is to paint your flag and/or write some words in your language on the jars/cups.

 

Everyone is welcome!

 

We encourage you to attend the event in an environmentally friendly manner. Akureyri bus system is free and all buses stop in the city center 300 meters from the library.
