In celebration of Cosy Days, a special pampering tour will be offered at the Akureyri Art Museum on Saturday, October 11 at 16:00. Sigríður Örvarsdóttir, museum director, will welcome guests and guide them through the exhibitions of Bergþór Morthens – Öguð óreiða, Barbara Long – Himnastigi, Óli G. Jóhannsson – Lífsins gangur, and Sigurður Ólason – DNA afa. Admission is included in the museum’s ticket price.

Currently, the museum also hosts exhibitions by Ýmis Grönvold – Milli fjalls og fjöru, James Merry – Nodens, Sulis & Taranis, as well as the educational exhibition Margskonar II and the virtual reality exhibition Femina Fabula.

Cosy Days will take place in Akureyri from October 9–12, offering a wide range of events designed to enrich the spirit and delight the heart. In addition, many shops and businesses will offer various activities and special pampering discounts. The event is a major supporter of the Akureyri and surrounding areas’ Cancer Society. Cosy Days were first held in 2008.
