The creators of Evolytes are visiting us to read their first storybook, The Coconut Competition (Kókoshnetukeppnin).

Written by Íris E. Gísladóttir, the book is a fun and exciting story for children aged 5 to 9.

 

Logi and Stampi are best friends, but things can get interesting when friends start competing. Both are convinced they have more coconuts than the other—but who is right? In this entertaining story, children follow the friends' adventures while learning to understand numbers and compare quantities in a natural, playful way.

The story sparks curiosity, encourages independent thinking, and creates enjoyable moments shared together. At the back of the book, there are simple questions to aid comprehension and prompt good discussions after the reading.

 

A craft activity will follow the reading.
