Believe it or not April 23 marks the first day of summer in Iceland. To celebrate this museums across Eyjafjörður offer a “summer gift” for everyone. Museums are open from 13:00–16:00, with some staying open to 17:00. Admission is free.

The programme includes book launches, treasure hunts, outdoor games, a hula workshop, African dance, art workshops, guided tours, poetry readings… and of course a wide range of exhibitions.
