On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the last album of the Þursaflokkð "Gæti eins verið" Eyþór Ingi & the Babies group are going to hold a concert on Friday, June 23rd at the Green Hat and perform all the best songs of the Þursaflokkð.

The Icelandic Þursaflokkur met for the first time in february 1978 and worked continuously until 1982. In those years they released 3 LPs, Hinn íslenzki Þursaflokkur (1978), Þursabit (1979), Gæti eins verið (1982) and one concert album. In 2008, they released an album with songs that had not been heard before, Ókomin forneskjan, as well as a concert album, Í höllinn á Þorra.
