Skoppa and Skrítla's Beach Bingo Adventure

Skoppa and Skrítla have been hosting their popular Beach Bingo events around the Capital Region of Iceland, encouraging parents, grandparents and children to spend quality time together while exploring the wonders of the shoreline.

At each event, families receive a Beach Bingo card along with a small adventure kit containing a bucket and shovel, binoculars and a magnifying glass to help them complete the Beach Bingo challenge.

There are prizes for completing a bingo, with bonus rewards for finding heart-shaped stones, building magnificent sandcastles and mastering the art of skipping stones across the water. The activity combines outdoor adventure, creativity and play, while strengthening family bonds and promoting health and wellbeing.

The Town of Akureyri invites families to join Skoppa and Skrítla at Sílabás Beach on Saturday, 19 September, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The event lasts for two hours, and families are welcome to stay for as long as they wish during that time. Everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather and enjoy a memorable afternoon of play, discovery and togetherness by the sea.
