The walk explores the spectacular eastern side of Jökulsárgljúfur, including Vígabjarg, Grettisbæli, Réttarfoss, beautiful rock formations reminiscent of Hljóðaklettar, Kallbjörg, Hallhöfðaskógur, and the highlight of the area, Hallhöfði—a nearly impassable headland of columnar basalt.
