How to babies make social judgment?

Hilal H. Şen, assistant professor at the Department of Psychology at the University of Akureyri, Hafdís Kristný Haraldsdóttir and Stefanía Guðrún Eyjólfsdóttir, student´s in psychology, are going to come to us and tell us about how psychologists go about doing research on children and what methods are used. They are going to show us videos from previous studies and tell us a little bit about the study they have going on now. But that study is called How to babies make social judgment? and is a study on children from 5 and a half to 10 and a half months.
Hilal has done all kinds of research on children. She and her team now mainly research how children and infants learn to understand the world around them and soon become active participants in their interactions. Their main research topics focus on moral development and active learning in different social and cultural environments.
The education takes place in both Icelandic and English.
