The hike starts from a parking area in Víkurskarð, ascending the slope alongside the stream.

Miðvíkurfjall (560 m high). Drive towards Víkurskarð and park at a small parking area there. From there, the hike follows the slope uphill alongside a stream, heading toward the summit. There are beautiful views over the western side of Eyjafjörður and out to sea. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy the late evening light of summer. The same route is taken back.
